How to Forward your DID Number

How to Forward your DID Number to your Cellphone or Any other number:

Login to your Portal, then Click on "DID Number" and select "List My Number" then select (in red) "Add a Failover Number to DID" then select the DID number from the list of DID on left that you would like to add the forwards to, then in the box marked "Voip Call" answer "NO" to the question and enter your 11 digits phone number of your cellphone e.g. 15551234321 do not enter any spaces or dashes, then click the "Add Number".

To forward your number to a International number just add 011 plus the country code and number.

To Buy a New Phone Number (DID)

Login to your GTI customer portal, select "DID Number" menu tab, then select "Buy New DID" make sure to select enable (SIP/VoIP Call = yes) if this DID number will be on another server and setup for VoIP/Internet call service.

 

To send your DID Number calls to a SIP Device/Server/Trunk/ use the following format:

 

 (SIP/[email protected]your_server_ip_address_or_server_domain_name) the 15551231234 would be your phone number (DID) on our system. (make sure your PBX/SIP Server accept calls from did.gtivoip.com). GTI uses other port numbers so contact your account manager for more information. (Our default Port Number is 50906 and 5062 for SIP and 50990 for IAX2)

If your device is connected to GTI PBX Server replace the "SIP/" with "local/" (i.e.) (local/31234)

the 31234 would be your SIP account or extension number on our system. if you are a Wholesale/Reseller Customer, use the "SIP/" and Port Number 5062 (use the GTI domain name

or IP address that was assigned to you)

Setup a SIP Trunk or Phone Number (DID) on your server:

Create a SIP trunk and add the following information below

host=did.gtivoip.com (or place the server address that was assigned to you here)
Port=50906  (or select the port that was given to you)

context=from-trunk
type=friend

 

For SMS enabled DID Number, please allow up to 15 minutes for propagation.

If this is a brand-new or ported number, then it can take up to 24 business hours to propagate.

 

Setup a Failover for Incoming DID calls

When your system is unavailable or you are experiencing Internet or power outage, we offer a option to redirect the incoming calls to any location where you can take the call, for example we could send your call to a cell phone or land line. By default we setup to your cellphone or a number you provide as your "backup number" during the signup process.

 

Select from the "DID Number" menu,  then select "Add Failover to DID" then select from the list of your (DID) phone number and enter the failover phone number in the "Enter Destination" field, the number must be 11 digits and change the PRIORITY from the drop down box (i.e.) "Priority : 2" it must be higher than "Priority : 1" (1 is always your first/primary destination)

 

How do I tell which DIDs are assigned to which Trunk?

Select "DID Number" and select “List My Number(s)” button to view your DIDs and their corresponding destination trunks. You may also edit the destination from this screen.

 

Web Callback

Select "User Settings" select "Web Callback" enter your telephone number (the number that we should call you back on for you to receive the call) in the first box then enter the International or USA number you wish to call in the second box once your phone ring, answer it and we will connect your call. For International calls remember to use 011 plus the country code and number, for USA and Canada use 1 plus the area code and number (i.e.) 15552341234 <--- that would be a USA call
